Assess patients with suspected greenstick fractures for deformity, swelling, and distal neurovascular compromise to guide timely escalation of care.
Apply individualized approaches for managing greenstick fractures using evidence-based immobilization and reduction techniques.
Implement appropriate follow-up and reassessment recommendations, incorporating timely reevaluation and referral when indicated to prevent complications, such as loss of alignment.
Apply interprofessional team strategies to improve communication and coordination when caring for patients with greenstick fractures.
