Determine the mechanisms by which Helicobacter pylori colonizes the gastric mucosa, including urease production, motility, and epithelial adherence.
Select guideline-directed Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy based on regional resistance patterns and antimicrobial susceptibility findings.
Determine when post-treatment testing is needed to confirm eradication of Helicobacter pylori.
Collaborate with interprofessional healthcare team members to optimize the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients with H pylori infection, improving patient outcomes and care coordination.
