Differentiate erythrasma from fungal and inflammatory skin conditions using Wood lamp examination, clinical evaluation, and, when necessary, adjunctive testing.
Improve patient understanding of erythrasma risk factors, self-care strategies, and therapy adherence to promote favorable clinical outcomes and reduce relapse.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with an interprofessional healthcare team, including dermatology nurses, pharmacists, and primary care clinicians, to ensure coordinated care, reinforce adherence, and optimize long-term patient outcomes.
