Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be better able to:
Identify the clinical and diagnostic features indicative of ventricular fibrillation.
Implement evidence-based approaches for managing ventricular fibrillation and mitigating its potential complications.
Apply guideline-directed postresuscitation care strategies to monitor clinical status, manage hemodynamics, prevent recurrent ventricular fibrillation, and guide definitive therapy.
Collaborate with all members of the interprofessional team, including specialists such as emergency physicians, intensivists, and cardiologists, to provide efficient, comprehensive, and coordinated care for individuals experiencing ventricular fibrillation.
