Identify evidence-based indications for radiofrequency ablation in patients with facet-mediated axial spine pain and selected chronic pain syndromes.
Assess contraindications, anticoagulation considerations, implanted device precautions, and anatomic factors that may increase procedural risk.
Determine appropriate intraoperative and postprocedure monitoring strategies to detect neurologic, hemodynamic, allergic, infectious, or thermal complications.
Coordinate interprofessional care among clinicians, nurses, rehabilitation professionals, and behavioral health specialists to support safe recovery and functional improvement.
