Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be better able to:
Identify the biomechanical, genetic, and lifestyle factors that precipitate and accelerate cervical spondylosis across the adult lifespan.
Assess patients with suspected cervical spondylosis using focused history, neurological examination, and appropriate imaging to stratify disease severity and urgency of intervention.
Implement individualized, guideline concordant management plans, including education, pharmacologic therapy, targeted rehabilitation, and surgical intervention, tailored to disease phenotype and patient goals.
Collaborate with an interprofessional team to coordinate imaging review, nonoperative care escalation, and postprocedural follow-up, improving functional outcomes and patient satisfaction.
