Identify clinical features that support the diagnosis of asthma and distinguish asthma from common alternative diagnoses.
Interpret pulmonary function testing and inflammatory biomarker findings in patients with suspected or established asthma.
Select individualized controller and biologic therapies according to asthma phenotype, disease severity, comorbidities, and prior treatment response.
Coordinate communication among members of the interprofessional healthcare team to improve continuity of care and reduce preventable asthma-related complications.
