Assess hemodynamic status, injury severity, and risk factors in patients presenting with suspected blunt abdominal trauma.
Identify early clinical signs of intra-abdominal bleeding, organ injury, and complications associated with blunt abdominal trauma.
Improve clinicians' competence in patient and public education on seatbelt use and injury-prevention strategies.
Describe how an interprofessional team can collaborate to improve the rapid diagnosis, resuscitation, evaluation, and management of this condition and education of patients about safe driving to prevent blunt abdominal trauma.
