Target Audience

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be better able to:
Assess patients for possible chin, midface, and mandibular angle implant indications.
Determine the appropriate facial implant material and surgical technique for a patient with facial asymmetry.
Improve patient understanding of the risks, benefits, and contraindications associated with various facial implant types.
Collaborate with all members of the interprofessional team, including specialists such as otolaryngologists, anesthesiologists, and oral maxillofacial surgeons, to provide efficient, comprehensive, and coordinated care for patients requiring facial implants.
